Mira Vista – Your Premier Clothing Optional Resort
4 star ratingGreat Clothing Optional Vacation We just returned from Mira Vista and it is on our list of places to return to. The casitas are very comfortable the pool areas are excellent, people are very friendly, and for us the fitness center is very well equipped. The only negative we have is the housekeeping is a little lax we had to get our own box of tissues, had to get a refill of the body lotion, and didn't receive any regular coffee on our last day, all minor things but just irritating for a resort that is 5 star in other ways. Of course being clothing optional is great, enjoyed the sun and the pools. The restaurant hours are a minor inconvenience we just picked up foods we could eat without cooking or could be microwaved, the food at their restaurant is tasty with good portions, maybe a little expensive but not enough to be objectionable.

4 star ratingWonderful spot with some reservations. This is a recreational club within a Condo community. The setting is lovely and the grounds impeccably maintained. Staff is very cordial. Be aware that the bar and restaurant are only open Friday thru Sunday. Luckily, we visited on a Friday and were able to enjoy a light snack and drinks served by a most pleasant waitress. My only criticism would be of the continuously piped in music at the pool which, for me, really spoiled the otherwise wonderful atmosphere. I can understand music for Happy Hour or a party/special occasion but not all day long.

5 star ratingWent to Mira vista for the first time. They had a 2 for 1 deal online so we paid for the day pass. Mira Vista is very clean. I love the fact that you have to be nude in the pool area. Makes us all equals. They have rooms you can book for the night or condos for sale if you want to live there lol. We had food at the restaurant, it was good. Margaritas from the bar were great. We had a great time!

5 star ratingI had the opportunity to visit Mira Vista Resort with Black Naturists Association (BNA). We were immediately directed to Mira Vista's front office and provided Visitor Information forms to fill out. Driver licenses and credit cards were requested for the Mira Vista representative to submit along with the Mira Vista Visitor Information form into their computer database. An unknown Mira Vista employee provided an oral presentation about the resort guest policies. Colored dot stickers were distributed to cover camera lens' on cellphones. The Mira Vista employee provided a brief tour of the resort. The full-service restaurant, cantina bar, and gift shop were briefly shown. During the tour, Mira Vista members in the large, heated pool provided an enthusiastic welcome to Black Naturists Association members. "We've been waiting for you!", along with "We're so happy you are here!" was shouted from Mira Vista's large, heated pool. I returned the positive energy to Mira Vista's members: "I am happy to be here!" "I have been waiting for you as well!"
Mira Vista's members were genuinely friendly and welcoming. I loved Mira Vista Resort's layout. I experienced stimulation overload at Mira Vista Resort and due to time restraints and was unable to indulge in the poolside ramada with a cooling misting system, water volleyball pool, forty-foot-long heated conversation pool with jets. Unfortunately, I forgot to visit the gift shop to purchase any Mira Vista Resort souvenirs.
I enjoyed my time and experience at Mira Vista Resort. I am looking forward to returning to Mira Vista Resort. I loved it there!!

5 star ratingThis resort was an awesome resort and it was great to be able to come down for the day! This is the sister resort to Laguna del Sol in CA, however is much smaller. The grounds were built in 1930 and have that Tuscon rural aesthetic design, however the amenities have been updated. There are cacti, broken carts and chests strategically placed to fit the property's theme. They seem to be expanding by building another building with condos which look exactly like the other buildings on the property.

In regards to amenities, they have a pool, pool volleyball court, conversation pool, hot tub, fitness center, pickle-ball courts and hiking trails. Unfortunately the hot tub was undergoing some maintenance while we were there, but found the conversation pool to be temperate to our liking. It was a hot summer day so I unfortunately did not get to enjoy the supposed hiking trails, so I will have to go back to explore those for sure. The day was quite quiet overall, the staff says it is busier on weekends, how most resorts are obviously, so I'll need to enjoy the other amenities (Cafe, Recreation Room and Lounge) the next time I go.

I wish the tour for new visitors was a little longer and included some discussion on rules of engagement etc. I feel like this is common at most resorts I've been to in the past and wish that it was included here as well.

Looking forward to coming back sometime later this summer and fall while I am living in Phoenix!

4 star ratingBeautiful Resort but some problems. It would be very easy for this resort to get a 5 rating. It is in a beautiful setting on the edge of a national park. The grounds and pools are beautifully maintained. Lots of friendly people. This review is for suggestions for the resort and advice for folks planning a visit. The main problem we had was that I didn't realize the restaurant was not open during the week. We would have booked on the weekend. There are a lot of places to eat in the area, but it takes away from the experience to have to go out multiple times a day. This brings me to a second problem. I booked the standard room because we were only going to be there 3 nights and didn't need the extra room. It doesn't come with a microwave which normally isn't something we want. But without the restaurant open, we needed to heat up something for breakfast or leftovers for lunch. Another issue is that ice is only available at the office which is open 9am-6pm in uninsulated small bucket. Ice picked up at 2pm is melted by 6pm. More

5 star ratingBeautiful surrounding area, wonderful weather and pool area My spouse and I went here and stayed in one of the condos. The condo was very nice and spacious, with a good kitchen area with in-unit laundry. The bathroom/shower was also very nice. There is an outer loop where people were jogging/walking with pets, some with cover-ups and some wearing nothing but flip-flops. The surrounding area is very close to the Saguaro National Park, and it was beautiful. The views of the desert were quite nice. The pool area is pretty big and was where most people were. They had three pools with varying temperatures and lots of lounge chairs. People were very friendly but no one approached us uninvited until we started talking to other people in the pool. The "conversation pool" lived up to its name with a lot of people mingling. There seemed like quite a few regulars as well as new visitors (like us). I did not see people doing much else besides going on walks and hanging around the pool. There is a bar with affordable but good cocktails by the front desk. Great experience! Would love to come back some day. More

The property is breathtakingly beautiful, so peaceful and relaxing! We stayed during the week so the cafe and lounge were understandably closed, but the residents say they are great as well. We’re already looking forward to our next visit here!!

5 star ratingGreat resort and friendly people! We had the wonderful pleasure of spending two nights at Mira Vista and have nothing but praises to sing. The staff were great, the restaurant was great, everything was great and we met the nicest people! This is definitely the only resort we will stay at in Tucson from now on. We were even fortunate enough to meet the owner on the way to the workout room.

All the best and don't change!

5 star ratingWill return at every opportunity from now on! No faults found at Mira Vista Resort. My wife and I checked in and stayed one night in hacienda #33 which had two Queen size beds, a fridge, a big screen TV and was just around the corner from the pools. There are 4 pools, tennis court, two hot tubs and a large shady shelter between pools. The grounds are covered in paths with cactus and other Arizonan flora.
On the weekends they serve meals and beverages daily.
There were 24 or 30 people there sunning, playing volleyball and reading under the pavilion. The group ranged in ages between 35 and 70. Naturists are always welcoming and friendly.
We were saddened to leave. More

5 star ratingBeautiful C/O oasis in the desert Mira Vista Resort is a very beautiful property and the grounds are very well kept. As a majority of the people we met live on the resort the atmosphere is one of a friendly neighborhood. When you visit a clothing optional area you always have a concern on the clientele and if they are part of another lifestyle that some places attract. We can definitely say that at Mira Vista you will find true naturists and every day people. We will definitely return in the future as it was an extremely relaxing few days.

5 star ratingGreat place for a clothing free getaway My wife and I have tried a few clothing optional beaches over the years but never had thought about trying out a clothing optional resort until recently. We finally found the time to head over on Sunday of Memorial Day weekend and purchased a first time two-for-one day pass. This is a great deal for a couple to try out a clothing optional resort without a lot of expense. The day pass gave us access to all the common area facilities like the game room, gym and the pools. Brent signed us in upon our arrival and gave us a tour of the facility. My wife and I spent most of the day around the two pools and the large conversation pool. The staff was very friendly the facility clean and attractive and prices reasonable. During our day visit we met some of the people that are residents of the resort. Very nice people and easy to talk to. We enjoyed watching the sunset from a seating area near the front office with one of the residents. We were also surprised to find that the lounge had a DJ that evening and they extended our day pass until 10PM so we could enjoy dancing in the lounge until it closed. My wife found the experience of being naked in this setting to be very relaxing and enjoyable. She also found out that you don't have to worry about looking like... 5 star ratingA classy boutique hotel for discerning naturists We have visited a LOT of clothing optional places in the US, and I would have to say this is one of the very best. The resort sits on the outskirts of Tucson, but at the edge of the desert for beautiful sunsets. Since they first opened, they have added loads of new condos, many of which are available for short stay rentals if you want to go the self-catering route, but we've only stayed in the historic hotel rooms.

I think each room has a unique floor plan. During our last stay, our room had a comfortable bed, a well-appointed bath, and a spacious living area that provided enough room to spread out in the midst of a multi-week trip. We really enjoyed the pool complex with a large open-air covered veranda perfect if you enjoy the warmth of the desert, but want to limit direct sun exposure.

Since we're not RV people, one of our biggest issues regarding clothing-optional resorts in the US is finding a place with the amenities we expect at even a mid-grade hotel. Mira Vista is a classy resort. To our standards, one of the best in the country. Can't wait to go back. More

5 star ratingThe most beautiful resort of its kind I've ever seen. Beautiful grounds and friendly people! Two pools and a large spa tub. Currently the restaurant is only open on weekends, so we missed a chance to try it. But, they have a full bar available every day. We stayed in an older building, but is was clean and comfortable. Many of the rentable condos are brand new.

5 star ratingThis is a lovely quiet place and one of the nicest nudist resorts we've stayed at. (Many nudist "resorts" are too rustic / hodgepodge / creepy and so the R word doesn't really fit.) Mira Vista is obviously meticulously maintained, clean, quiet, and simply classy in its presentation. We spent two nights in one of the RV spaces. Didn't eat in the restaurant as we were here mid-week and it was closed. But there's lots of restaurants and retail just 2 miles away. The pool / hot tub / restrooms / showers = clean and nice. Just one note: if you're RVing here, be advised there's lots of coyotes about. Mira Vista is in a rural area. At 7 a.m., I saw 5 coyotes running down the road inside the compound. I didn't feel frightened, but was glad I didn't leave a cooler or anything with food smells on it outside the RV.

5 star ratingA beautiful location This was our first experience at a clothing optional resort. Not sure at first if we would stay but the room was very inexpensive when you consider the cost to spend a day here. Staff was very friendly, we decided to try the hot tub there were 5 other couples in the tub all were very friendly, I liked being able to go out side with nothing on felt so good. Next morning was a little cool but we went for a walk around met an older lady and she invited us to walk with them the next day. Unfortunately the weather was going to turn bad for the next 3 days so we had to leave. Yes i was very disappointed but what are you going to do. This was one of the best experiences i have had, looking forward to going back. More

5 star ratingDelightful! The Mira Vista Resort is a beautiful oasis on the edge of Tucson that offers a chance to get away from it all. When I visited, I found adults ranging in age from perhaps late twenties on up to retirees, and what particularly impressed me was how friendly everyone was to each other. Seriously, this is what the world should be like. The resort is clothing-optional, but let me tell you that if you feel bashful or self-conscious about your appearance, you have nothing to worry about. Nobody is going to judge you here. So whether you want to go to be social, or sit quietly and relax, you will feel welcomed at Mira Vista. More

5 star ratingAANR member - Beautiful resort and well maintained facilities and landscaping. It's located near many restaurants and shopping, but you feel secluded in a desert oasis because of the hills and terrain. The Sonoran Desert is beautiful here.
The staff was welcoming and helpful as this was my first visit to Mira Vista. I visited on a Sunday and Pickleball was going on in the morning and water volleyball in the afternoon. The players were friendly and inclusive, even though I'm a rubbish player haha. Guests in the pool area were also friendly.
Very relaxing & enjoyable day. I plan to return on my next trip to Tucson.

5 star ratingWhat can I say that hasn’t been said already? This is such a beautiful clothing free resort. The history of the site makes it even more interesting. Staff is friendly and helpful. Pool area is expansive and clean. Regular guests are inviting and open to new people. Rooms are clean and well appointed. Resort layout and grounds are spectacular. Too much hyperbole? Perhaps. But it isn’t hyperbole if it’s true. If you prefer to vacation with no pants on, visit Mira Vista.

5 star ratingFrom Stage Coaches, to Susan Summers, to Nudist, it has some stories to tell. The weather is as warm as the hosts and guests. We had heard about Mira Vista for years but Arizona was never on our travel plans. Then Crooked Media was on tour in Phoenix so we had an excuse to at least go to Arizona. Despite the show being in Phoenix, we decided the 90-minute drive would be worth it to try out Mira Vista. It was well worth it. It by far is the nicest nudist resort in the US that hasn't gone lifestyle. The have a restaurant on property that is good, and evening activites as well. The are one if not only nudist resorts that is growing. The are consantily building new condos, and they are very nicely done. It was also the first place we were introduced to pickle ball. They have a competive leauge. We can't wait to go back.

5 star ratingThis resort is fantastic! Rich with history, yet updated and well kept. You truly feel like your in part of the old west while relaxing and taking in the amazing views of mountains in Saguaro National Park.
With an on-site bar and restaurant, there's no need to go off property if you don't want to, but if you do, it's close to some really great hiking and nearby restaurants.
This place offers both single rooms, and multi room condos. Though I stayed in the least expensive of the options, but I felt as if I had a mini suit!
The people here were very welcoming, both the residents and regulars were very nice even as a first time visitor.
Overall I was very happy with my stay and will defiantly be back next time I'm in town!

5 star ratingDesert views are very relaxing We really enjoyed our stay here and lucked out that we had paid for a small room but when we arrived they were full. So, they moved us to one of the condos which was awesome. We will get a condo next time too. The grounds are well kept and there was some activity at night in the club house. We ended up taking a midnight walk out in the desert to stare at the stars in the black night sky. We look forward to going back.

4 star ratingBeautiful resort for those who enjoy the nudist lifestyle. My partner and I have spent many hours enjoying the atmosphere and the opportunity to be clothes-free. Located near our home in Tucson we visit several times a year. The cafe serves good food. There are three pools for your enjoyment - a regular swimming pool, a volley ball pool, and a warm sitting pool. In addition there is a covered hot tub. On the site are condos, some with live-in owners, some for rentals, and some for sale.

5 star ratingPlace is spotless. Very friendly people. Nice to see attention to details. Everything is clean and well taken care of. Wish they had more RV spots. Not RV friendly as they atre trying to sell their condo's. Other than that, it is great! Have already told many people in our travels about this place. Will come back for sure again.

5 star ratingOne of our favorite stops on our trip! Mira Vista Resort was one of our favorite stops on our trip! We took our family across the country on an epic adventure and one of our first stops was Mira Vista Resort. What an awesome experience! From the perfectly manicured grounds to the pools and Jacuzzi that is like an Oasis, everything we experienced was very nice and we want to go back. We stayed on one of the RV sites, which were very nice with 50amp full hookup service and spacious cement pads. We enjoyed many of the things to do nearby, including biking Mt Lemon, hiking, trail running, shopping, great food and other fun outdoor adventures in the awesome (Hot) AZ weather.
